Season 2018

Adelaide Blue Eagles have kick-started their State League 1 campaign with their eyes purely on promotion back to the NPL.

Blue Eagles shocked everyone as they finish second to last in the 2017 NPL season and were relegated to the State League.

With the shock of regulation, Blue Eagles suffered even more loss with a number of players leaving the club including the likes of Matthew Charalambous (Metro Stars), young gun Anthony Dimas (West Adelaide), goalkeeper John Solari (Adelaide Olympic) and the clubs top goal scorer last year Daniele Grandi (Italy).

Both coaching staff and players have been added to the club including:

– New players Gianmarco Mancini, Asadullah Abbasi & Pietro Pergollo

– Returning players Evan Kounavelis & Pedram Sourgani

– Promoted junior players Adrian Barone, Antoni Panagoulias & Brylon Nthoane

Vojo Glusevic has returned to the head job for the Blues in Round 4 of the season, having quickly replaced Steven DeGiovaniello after only 3 matches, to steer the team back on course to the championship.

We wish the entire team the best of luck for the remainder of the season.

C’mon you Blue’s!!!
